The Disease Pathogens Research cluster investigates the molecular biology, genomics, and evolutionary dynamics of pathogens causing infectious diseases across sub-Saharan Africa. Our work includes pathogen discovery, whole-genome sequencing, antimicrobial resistance surveillance, and the development of novel diagnostic tools.
