Wellcome Trust Career Development Award — SSI

This project investigates the molecular mechanisms of insecticide resistance in major malaria vectors across sub-Saharan Africa. Through whole-genome sequencing, population genetics, and functional genomics approaches, we aim to develop novel surveillance strategies and inform evidence-based vector control policies. The research combines field-based sample collection across multiple African countries with cutting-edge laboratory analysis and bioinformatics.
